progress is determined by those who will break
commitments that others would not ever make themselves

i speak using clichés, more common than morse code
assimilate now, that’s the only way
it’s planned obsolescence if you choose to delay
your ancestors, outdated, were unlearned asses
so, step back in line + obey with the masses

never in all of this world’s history has there been a generation like this one.
and there’s absolutely nothing – however small – that could act as an impediment
to the certainty + contentment we desire.
we’re more moral, altruistic + loving as humans than ever before.
and there’s no one in any country who is lacking the most basic needs.
we are the most connected as people, there’s no reason for anyone to feel alone,
and if you happen to think differently, that’s simply a sign that you’re part of the problem.
so – sing with me, friend. you know the words: “it’s always getting better.”
